Captain's Log: Good morning Goose! (Good morning Moose!), today is definitely less pit of despair than yesterday. During the day I felt like walking in front of a train, and by the end of the day not so much. Oh god, morbid thought, that time you and I were coming back from the city and the train got stopped the stop before us. We didn't move for like a half an hour because of someone doing just that...ewww. Moving on.
Council Meeting Minutes: There are a few more members to the protest. I'm not sure why most of them are getting involved, I blame peer pressure. The only one that I can understand is Daniel Tiger, he was the first one I had enlisted as a helper but to be fair he really only worked on the project for a few minutes.
Project #2 has found success! The boys spent the night digging, and finally found the one piece I was looking for to complete the ray thingy you built. I don't know what it is called, lets make something up...Super Awesome Ray Gun! I know that's not great, but you were always better with coming up with the names for things.
Actually I think the time about the train was the trip we took on that ridiculously gross hot day. The whole thought for the trip was based on that song by The Lumineers "Ho Hey". I wanted to take you to the city anyways, but this was kind of the driving force. There is a line in the song:
"(Ho!) I don't think you're right for him. (Hey!) Look at what it might have been if you (Ho!) took a bus to China Town. (Hey!) I'd be standing on Canal (Ho!) and Bowery. (Hey!) (Ho!) And she'd be standing next to me. (Hey!)"
So I took you down to China Town, and you stood on the corner of Canal and Bowery. You were so short I had to kind of stand a ways back to get the whole picture, but you thought it was pretty cool. Then whenever we heard that song from then on, we had a cool memory to attach to it.
XOXO Moose
